Maurice Shelton is an actor, voice artist, and former professional MMA fighter born in Montgomery, Alabama. He now resides in Japan working as a business owner and trainer. His mixed martial arts career was wholly in Japan, fighting for the RINGS Network and ZST.[1] He appeared as the voice and motion capture model of Captain Alfee Zydos in Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance in 2024.[2]He has also starred in short films, most notably Sin Padre, released in 2023.[3] Shelton has appeared as a voice talent in many commercials, events, and promotions.[4] He is one of three plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit against the Japanese police and government, citing unconstitutional racial profiling.[5][6]
