Mau is a small village of 868 hectares in Bah Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mau depends on Bah (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include, One Well supply, which is 200.00% of the total supply, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mau's pin code is 283114[4], and village code is 01655900. The area of Mau is segregated as 241 hectares irrigated area, 77 hectares unirrigated, remaining 117 hectare area not available for cultivation.
