This Wikipedia page delves into Jennings' early life, education, professional career, business ventures, and his personal journey of resilience.

Early life & education

Jennings' journey into entrepreneurship is rooted in his early life and educational experiences. Born in Flint, Michigan, Jennings' journey began as the youngest child of a black single mother who had to set aside her dream of becoming a nurse to raise her six children. Growing up, his early aptitude for numbers, such as being able to count to 1,000 in kindergarten, hinted at his future in a numbers-related field. Initially aspiring to be an FBI agent, his dreams shifted towards electrical engineering, but at the age of 17, he discovered he was color blind, which made pursuing this path less feasible. At 17, just one week after high school graduation, Jennings enlisted in the US Marine Corps Reserve, graduating from boot camp on his 18th birthday. He was later activated for nine months in Operation Desert Storm as an infantry rifleman, receiving an honorable discharge in September 1991. Subsequently, he pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management Systems at Kettering University. During his studies, he gained experience at General Motors Inland Fisher Guide as a Competitive Intelligence Analyst. This was followed by an MBA in Finance at Baker College of Graduate Studies in 2009. Over the next five years, he also worked as an adjunct professor of math and business. In 2021, Jennings completed his Juris Doctorate degree at Teton Law School. Jennings also boasts a decade of martial arts experience and a high school wrestling background, with training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Stick Fighting, and is currently a 2nd degree black belt candidate in Combat Hapkido. He trained under Master Daniel Allen who has direct lineage to the creator of the art, Grandmaster John Pellegrini.

Professional Achievements

Jennings’ commitment to professional excellence is evidenced by his extensive certifications and achievements. Throughout his career, he acquired numerous certifications and experiences, including being an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), the highest IRS certification for tax professionals. His diverse set of certifications equally include Board Certified Estate and Trust Specialist (CES™), Certified Estate Planner (CEP®), and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®).

Business career

Jennings embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 18, eventually venturing into the restaurant industry with the creation of the Iron Cage Grill, a restaurant themed around Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) that gained popularity for its creatively themed menus. Each menu item was named after a submission hold or technique, and the overall mission was to 'prepare food that is so good, it’ll make you tap out.’ Jennings' journey is a testament to unwavering determination and innovation, as he has continually adapted to new challenges and opportunities, ultimately becoming a recognized expert in advanced tax strategies and asset protection.
