Matt Rudd (born 1975) is a British journalist and author. He is a contributing editor at The Sunday Times and a columnist on The Sunday Times Magazine. He joined the Sunday Times in 2003 after five years as assistant editor and deputy editor at Wanderlust (magazine). He has written two novels and two non-fiction books, The English: A Field Guide (2014) and Man Trouble: Why Men Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It [1](2020).

Rudd attended The Judd School in Tonbridge (1986 to 1993) before studying history at Durham University.

In 2019, he won columnist of the year at the British Society of Magazine Editors awards.[2]

He lives in Kent with his wife Harriet and three children.
