Matt Potter (born 21st November 1970) is a British journalist, author, broadcaster, screenwriter and creative lead.[1]

Published Works

Potter's first internationally published book, Outlaws Inc draws on his first-hand experience of the biggest smuggling network in history, from its formation in post-Soviet Russia to its influence on today's global trouble spots, from Colombia and Somalia to Afghanistan and Angola[2].

The Last Goodbye is a collection of the pithiest, angriest, most hilarious messages of resignation throughout history, including those whose exits were a springboard to eventual success, such as Steve Jobs, George Orwell and Charlie Sheen. It’s full of self-deception, bloody knives, betrayal, honour, disgrace, disgust, thwarted ambition and shattered hopes, and sometimes a wicked sting in the tail . . .

We Are All Targets: How Renegade Hackers Invented Cyber War And Unleashed An Age Of Global Chaos was published in the US and worldwide in January 2023 then in the UK in April 2023. The story is built on a real life experience in which Potter was questioned by MI5 due to receiving NATO plans in his email.[3]
