Masum Sahil (Sindhi: معصوم ساحل) is a Young Sindhi-language poet, translator, font developer.
Early Life and Education
Masum Sahil's real name is Murtaza. He was born on September 4, 2002, in Chachro, a town in the Tharparkar district of Sindh, Pakistan. From an early age, he developed an interest in poetry, literature, and digital arts. His passion led him to explore Sindhi computing, where he made notable contributions.[1]
Career
Masum Sahil is known for his work in Sindhi literature, translation, and calligraphy. As a font developer, he has created several Sindhi fonts that help preserve and modernize Sindhi typography. Additionally, he is a skilled graphic designer, working on various digital projects that promote Sindhi language and culture.
Contributions to Sindhi Language
Masum Sahil is Pakistan’s youngest Sindhi font developer. In 2019, at the age of 17, he created his first font, MS Thar, which is available on the Sindh Salamat Font Server (website). After that, he developed five more Sindhi fonts, two of which can be downloaded for free from the Sindh Salamat Font Server.[1]
