Massimo Cosentino (Switzerland, 1980) is an Italian/Swiss sports executive. He is current general secretary of Juventus FC.

Biography: Born in Switzerland, where his family had moved for work, he grew up in Sion and Arona, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. He graduated in Political Science and International Relations at the "Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore" in Milan, and did a master's degree in Madrid at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in collaboration with Real Madrid C.F.

In football, he took his first steps as a sports collaborator, beginning his career at Torino F.C. (2005-2010) under the new President Urbano Cairo, who rebuilt the club in just a few weeks. Cosentino found himself part of a new club that achieved promotion to Serie A at the first attempt.

After an experience as sports secretary at Novara Calcio, where he was called by the new ownership of the De Salvo family to contribute to the creation of a structured organisational chart that would lead the Piedmontese club to a double promotion, he first became sports secretary of U.C. Sampdoria in 2011, called by the Garrone presidency, and then became its general secretary from 2012 to 2014. During that period, the "Ligurian" team won the Serie B play-offs in the 2011/2012 season.

With the sale of the club from the Garrone family to Massimo Ferrero, in October 2014 he became sports secretary of F.C. Internazionale Milano and then held the role of general secretary of the "Nerazzurri" from 2016 to 2021. In the seven seasons spent in Milan, the Milanese club will experience two corporate changes, passing from the Moratti presidency to the Chinese ownership of Zhang, with the interlude of the Indonesian management of Erik Thohir. In that period, Inter would return to the UEFA Champions League, then win the Serie A championship in the 2020/2021 season under Antonio Conte.

In July 2021, he was appointed general manager of F.C. Sion (Swiss Premier League)[1]. In Switzerland, under the presidency of Constantin, he appointed Paolo Tramezzani to lead the first team, achieving salvation on the last match day. At the end of the 2021/2022 season he left the Swiss club to move to Juventus F.C. where he currently holds the position of general [2] secretary.
