Masihabad is a small village of 363.5 hectares in Bahraich Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Masihabad depends on Bahraich (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Masihabad's pin code is 271802[4], and village code is 06500900. The area of Masihabad is segregated as 17.39 hectares irrigated area, 273.43 hectares unirrigated area. the 10.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 24.74 hectare area not available for cultivation.
