Masari is a small village of 1219 hectares in Kathumar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Masari depends on NAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Masari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Masari's pin code is 321605[4], and village code is 00943100. The area of Masari is segregated as 304 hectares irrigated area, 850 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 46 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NAGAR and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
