Career

Marwen began his career at 18 with Armada Music, where he created the Bearded Man sub-label. This label quickly became the strongest sub-label of Armada Music, racking up a healthy 2 billion plus streams in 2 years. One of the early break-out records Marwen signed was Lost Frequencies – “Are You With Me”,.[1] which was certified over 50x platinum [2]. Marwen was soon scooped up by Atlantic Records in 2015, becoming the A&R for Atlantic UK. There he worked with artists such as Anne-Marie, Ed Sheeran, and Rita Ora[3]

At the same time, Marwen set up his own management company, Boy From The Beach. In 2018, Boy From The Beach joined forces with Scandinavian powerhouse Sony Disco:wax to create a new label. In 2020, Marwen became Co-Founder of Maison Riche Entertainment which hosts a large collection of music publishing, signed records, and a roster of artist management.

Artist Projects

Karma Child

It all started as a joke between friends, but it quickly grew into a bigger venture with an ever expanding team. Karma Child brings diversity and variety to the electronic music scene, refusing to be confined to one genre, and delivering high-quality music while maintaining a lighthearted approach.

Marwen has promised to go skydiving naked if Karma Child ever hits the number 1 spot.
