Martino Zontini (born 10 November 1984 in Rome) is an Italian-Congolese entrepreneur and healthcare strategist. He is the founder and managing director of Quomeda, a healthcare market intelligence firm. In 2015, he acquired the Belgian football club KV Turnhout.
Early life and family
Zontini was born into a family with a background in literature, diplomacy, and football. His grandfather, Athos Zontini, played professionally in Serie A for Napoli during the 1930s, before the club became SSC Napoli.[1] He later served as a military doctor, health official, and author of Storia del Napoli, a serialized history of the club. His father, Leandro Zontini, was an Italian diplomat. His mother, Itaka Lofambo, is a Congolese entrepreneur.

Zontini is the founder of Quomeda, a healthcare research and strategy firm that supports global medical technology companies.
KV Turnhout
In 2014, Zontini acquired KV Turnhout, a historic Belgian football club that was facing financial difficulty at the time.[2][3][4] The club had been struggling both financially and competitively in the years prior. In 2015, KV Turnhout merged with FC Turnhout to form KFC Turnhout. Zontini supported the merger and subsequently divested from the club to help facilitate the transition.[5]
