Markos Christodoulou (Greek: Μάρκος Χριστοδούλου, Markos Xristodoyloy born May 6 2007) is a Greek Actor and Filmaker. He is known for his leading role as the autistic child Christopher Boone in the play "CHRISTOPHER" based on the Mark Haddons novel "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time"

Early life and studies

Markos was born in Crete, Greece and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. As a litle child, he began Acting , Dancing and Acrobatics studies having his first interest for art.

in 2019 he successfully finished his studies in the minor department of National Theatre of Northern Greece, possessing his first knowledge of acting and improvisation. One year later, he began his studies at the theater of Lazaristes monastery where, in addition to acting and improvisation, he was taught kinesiology and the basics of classical music. In 2020, after completing his final courses, he took a significant step in his journey to become an actor. He commenced his studies at the Rontidis school of dramatic arts, one of the most renowned schools in northern Greece. From that point onwards, he began to participate in various theater productions.

Career

Ιn 2022, Markos took part as Adam in "ADN" a play based on Dennis Kelly's novel DNA, directed by Palmyra Dimitrakopoulou, the production was staged at the Amalia Theater in Thessaloniki. It quickly garnered public's interest and attracted a substantial feedback.

In December 2022, Markos played the goblin Grendel in the play "The goblin with the golden heart" (Greek: Ο καληκάντζαρος με την χρυσή καρδιά), a live performance shadow theater show, created by Minas Tatsios Shadow Theater and directed by Minas Tatsios himself. Due to its great success, a year later the play toured in many places of northern Greece.

In May 2023, Markos had his first double-role as Raimond Star and Jorge Bartlett in the play "The body in the library" by Agatha Christie, directed by Chara Tsiaousidou a collaboration with the theater department of the art school of Thessaloniki

In July 2023, Markos took part with a leading role as Christopher Boone in the play "CHRISTOPHER" based on the Mark Haddons novel "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time". Directed by Marianna Avramaki and produced by Theatre RO the play was staged at the Athineon Theater in Thessaloniki. The play immediately received very good reviews by many theater critics.

In August 2023, Markos got scholarship for IPOP agency in Los Angeles, California without going.

Film

He has writed and directed his own films like "The Soul short film" and "FAREWELL" which is in production. He has also worked as a producer with Gorge Skandalaris and he participated in many other productions.
