Marjorie Maxine Kimmel Hlava (born June 9, 1946) is an American author, botanist, information scientist and CEO of Access Innovations, Inc.[2]

Biography

Marjorie M. K. Hlava was born in June 1946.

Hlava began utilizing information technology as a way to better knowledge management. In 1973 Hlava began working as an information scientist at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. While working as an information scientist, Hlava was trained by NASA to become an information engineer.[3] In 1978 Hlava founded Access Innovations after leaving the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
