Marjha is a small village of 456.8 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Marjha depends on JASPURA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Marjha's pin code is 210126[4], and village code is 04782400. The area of Marjha is segregated as 24 hectares irrigated area, 406 hectares unirrigated area. the 35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Marjha has One post office (Marjha B.O). Marjha has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Marjha is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1458 and has total administration over 240 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of JASPURA and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
