Maren Gilzer (born February 4 1960 in Berlin) is a German actress and model.
Life
Gilzer lived in her childhood in Berlin-Wedding. Before she worked as model and as actress in German films and television productions, she became a drafter.[1] Since 1988 she worked for German broadcaster Sat.1. She became famous in Germany from 1988–1998 for her work in German game-show International versions of Wheel of Fortune|Glücksrad, where she worked together with Peter Bond and Frederic Meisner. From 1998 to 2014 Gilzer played as actress in German tv-serie In aller Freundschaft the figure of nurse Yvonne Habermann. In 1015, Gilzer won Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus! (season 9). Gilzer was married journalist Egon Freiheit between 2010 and 2013, with whom she lived together before 17 years.[2]
