Marcus Iziegbeaya Onobun is a Nigerian Politician currently serving as a member of the eigth Nigerian Federation House of Representatives. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party representing Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Consistuencies in Edo North Senatorial District.
He was nominated for the speakership by Blessing Agbebaku of the PDP representing Egor Constituency and the motion was seconded by Natasha Osawaru also of the PDP representing Esan North West. Onobun was elected speaker by all 24 members of the house unchallenged.
Onobun was speaker to the chief of staff of the Seventh Edo State Assembly Blessing Agbebaku. Onobun was elected to the Edo State House of Assembly in 2019 and served until 2023 when he left the house.
