Marcia Lee Kelly was the chief executive officer of the 2020 Republican National Convention[1][2]. With the national challenges presented by Covid-19, she was tasked by the Republican National Committee to plan an event for three cities — Charlotte, N.C., Jacksonville, FL., and Washington, D.C. — which included the official nomination of Donald J. Trump, public events and the health safety protocol[3] surrounding them. Kelly also served as the former Senior Advisor on both operations management and legacy projects for the Trump Administration.

Kelly served as the Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to the First Lady [4] during the Trump Administration. Included in these responsibilities was direct supervision of the Executive Residence, Visitor’s Office, Travel Office, White House Personnel & Human Resources, Finance & Procurement, and Facilities. President Trump appointed her to the 2018 USA Olympic Delegation to South Korea, and to the Commission on the Preservation of the White House. Kelly was the Director of Operations for the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Kelly started her career in the New York City Mayor’s Office[5]. Kelly also served on the presidential transition team for Mitt Romney.

Outside of the political spectrum, Kelly has held the role of Chief Philanthropic Officer for Trinity Law School[6], Mercy Healthcare System, and Riverfront. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Coulee Humane Society and the YWCA.
