Maraodiya is a small village of 161 hectares in Bari Sadri Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maraodiya depends on Bari Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 24.76% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Maraodiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Maraodiya's pin code is 312401[4], and village code is 03710400. The area of Maraodiya is segregated as 24.76 hectares irrigated area, 98.81 hectares unirrigated, the 30.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 6.49 hectare area not available for cultivation.
