Alexandre Manuel Carvalho da Custódia (born October 3, 2001) is a Portuguese actor and model. He first gained recognition as a child actor, starring in three soap operas in the early 2000's, having his international movie debut at the age of 8. Custódia starred in América (2010), making his international movie debut with a leading role, playing the son of Chulpan Khamatova[1] and became best known nationally for his performance in Belmonte, nominated to an International Emmy Award[2] by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Due to his quick rise, Manuel was considered a promissing actor in Europe during the 2010s.[3] He decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.[4]
Personal Life
Between 2020 and 2022, he promoted COVID-19 misinformation through social media, particularly contesting the vaccination of children.[5][6] In 2021, he defended the position of Doutzen Kroes in refusing to be vaccinated[7] and challenged Instagram's decision to ban the account of several models, including Jason Morgan.[8]
Since 2022, Manuel has garnered significant associations with the dissident far-right, primarily through his following via X. His online presence has reflected strong criticisms of modernity, APA and modern architectural practices.[9]
