Mansi Choksi is an Indian journalist and writer. She is the author of The Newlyweds, a literary non-fiction account of young couples in India, which will be published in 2022.[1][2] [3] [4][5]

Early Life and Career

Choksi was born in Mumbai, India and started her career as a reporter for the The Times of India.

She attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism as a Fulbright Program[6].

Awards and Recognition

Choksi is a two-time finalist for the Livingston Award[7] [8]in International Reporting in 2018 and 2019. They are the largest, all-media, general reporting prizes in America for journalists under 35.

She won the 2018 Madeline Dane Ross Award by Overseas Press Club of America which honors the year's best international reporting in the print medium or digital showing a concern for the human condition.[9][10]

She won the South Asian Journalists Association Award that recognizes excellence in coverage of South Asia.[11]
