Manki is a small village of 516 hectares in Ramgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manki depends on RAMGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 29.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manki is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAMGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
