Mankaura is a small village of 272.1 hectares in Tulsipur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mankaura depends on Pachperwa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mankaura's pin code is 271215[4], and village code is 06680300. The area of Mankaura is segregated as 120 hectares irrigated area. the 126.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
