Manka is a small village of 1072 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manka depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 200.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manka's pin code is 301401[4], and village code is 00771500. The area of Manka is segregated as 838.12 hectares irrigated area, 171.05 hectares unirrigated, the 31.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manka is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1994 and has total administration over 385 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
