Manikpura is a small village of 952 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manikpura depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manikpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manikpura's pin code is 322249[4], and village code is 01259800. The area of Manikpura is segregated as 14.15 hectares unirrigated, the 40.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
