Mango Dara is a small village of 237 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mango Dara depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.34% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mango Dara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mango Dara's pin code is 312001[4], and village code is 03598700. The area of Mango Dara is segregated as 2.34 hectares irrigated area, 45.02 hectares unirrigated, the 28.4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 160.75 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
