Manglod is a small village of 2478 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manglod depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manglod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Manglod's pin code is 341027[4], and village code is 01788400. The area of Manglod is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 1844 hectares unirrigated, the 195 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 436.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
