Mangeriya is a small village of 2498 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mangeriya depends on PIPARCITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mangeriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mangeriya's pin code is 342901[4], and village code is 01946100. The area of Mangeriya is segregated as 196 hectares irrigated area, 1622.01 hectares unirrigated, the 195 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 485 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PIPARCITY and Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
