Mangalwasi is a small village of 918 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mangalwasi depends on LADNU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mangalwasi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mangalwasi's pin code is 331518[4], and village code is 00660100. The area of Mangalwasi is segregated as 68 hectares irrigated area, 801.62 hectares unirrigated, the 29.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18.5 hectare area not available for cultivation.
