Mandota is a small village of 1772 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandota depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 987.95% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mandota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mandota's pin code is 332023[4], and village code is 01699100. The area of Mandota is segregated as 987.95 hectares irrigated area, 518.85 hectares unirrigated, the 189.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell earthen pots and make their living.
