Mandawas is a small village of 228 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandawas depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mandawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on River. Mandawas's pin code is 344025[4], and village code is 02137500. The area of Mandawas is segregated as 180 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
