Mandawara is a small village of 2293 hectares in Udaipurwati Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandawara depends on UDAIPURWATI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mandawara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mandawara's pin code is 333302[4], and village code is 00752000. The area of Mandawara is segregated as 159 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, the 184 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 543 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPURWATI and Jhunjhunu to sell leather shoes and make their living.
