Manak Chowk is a small village of 793 hectares in Nainwa Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manak Chowk depends on NAINWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manak Chowk is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manak Chowk's pin code is 323803[3], and village code is 02729800. The area of Manak Chowk is segregated as 32 hectares irrigated area, 50 hectares unirrigated, the 138 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 53 hectare area not available for cultivation.
