Malti Chahar is an Indian actress, model, and the second runner-up in Femina Miss India 2014.She is known for her contributions to the entertainment industry, and she made her debut in the movie Manicure in 2017.
Early Life and Family
Malti Chaharwas born in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya Agra[1] and later pursued a B.Tech degree in Software Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) College, Lucknow.[1]
She comes from a family with connections to both the Indian Air Force and the world of cricket[2]. Her father, Lokendra Singh Chahar,[3] served in the Indian Air Force,[4] and she is the sister of the Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
Work and career
Malti Chahar began her modeling journey before 2014. In 2014, she earned the title of second runner-up in Femina Miss India 2014,[11] leading to appearances in various commercial ads. In 2017, she starred in the short film Manicure and made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with the movie Genius [12], directed by Anil Sharma. Despite the film's negative reviews, Malti Chahar's performance shone, presenting her with fresh opportunities. In 2021, she prepared for a significant lead role in the thriller film Hush, directed by Ashu Trikha.[13][14]
Apart from her acting endeavors, Malti Chahar gained considerable attention on social media[15]during the 2018 IPL season. Captured on camera celebrating her brother's hat-trick wicket during a CSK match[16], her image was often linked to the mystery girl seen on Parle G biscuit wrappers[17]. However, in reality, she wasn't the same person as portrayed.[18][19]
