Malpuriya Kalan is a small village of 1106 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malpuriya Kalan depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malpuriya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Malpuriya Kalan's pin code is 306104[4], and village code is 02414200.
