Malooni is a small village of 340 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malooni depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Malooni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malooni's pin code is 304501[4], and village code is 02601000. The area of Malooni is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 195 hectares unirrigated, the 38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell carpet and make their living.
