Malipura is a small village of 220 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malipura depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 55.51% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malipura's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04005500. The area of Malipura is segregated as 55.51 hectares irrigated area, 76.55 hectares unirrigated, the 25.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 62.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
