Mala Kholra is a small village of 964 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mala Kholra depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mala Kholra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mala Kholra's pin code is 314406[4], and village code is 03364800. The area of Mala Kholra is segregated as 218 hectares irrigated area, 252 hectares unirrigated, the 342 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 144.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
