Makrasar is a small village of 3282 hectares in Lunkaransar Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Makrasar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Makrasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Makrasar's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00514400. The area of Makrasar is segregated as 1801 hectares unirrigated, the 1324 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 157 hectare area not available for cultivation.
