Makoriya is a small village of 494 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Makoriya depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Makoriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Makoriya's pin code is 326515[4], and village code is 04116600. The area of Makoriya is segregated as 34.73 hectares irrigated area, 192.34 hectares unirrigated, the 157.88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 108.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Makoriya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 822 and has total administration over 152 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
