Makori is a small village of 1768 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Makori depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Makori is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Makori's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01802600. The area of Makori is segregated as 1716.94 hectares unirrigated, remaining 51.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
