Majra Rawat is a small village of 350 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Majra Rawat depends on KOTPUTLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 130.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Majra Rawat is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Majra Rawat's pin code is 301402[4], and village code is 00871300. The area of Majra Rawat is segregated as 196 hectares irrigated area, 116 hectares unirrigated, the 27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
