Majawad is a small village of 1300 hectares in Gogunda Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Majawad depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Majawad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Majawad's pin code is 313705[4], and village code is 03083100. The area of Majawad is segregated as 44 hectares irrigated area, 89 hectares unirrigated, the 438 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 176 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Majawad is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1870 and has total administration over 377 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
