Maitriwara is a small village of 1705 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maitriwara depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 303.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Maitriwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Maitriwara's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02339700. The area of Maitriwara is segregated as 907 hectares irrigated area, 337 hectares unirrigated, the 291 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 170 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell mawa and make their living.
