Mahuwa Khurd is a small village of 1337 hectares in Banera Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahuwa Khurd depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 91.91% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mahuwa Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
