Mahui is a small village of 201.8 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahui depends on Tindwari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahui's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04792100. The area of Mahui is segregated as 80 hectares irrigated area, 114 hectares unirrigated area. the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahui has One post office (Kulsari B.O). Mahui has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tindwari (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
