Mahlan is a small village of 983 hectares in Dudu (Hq. Mauzamabad) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahlan depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 326.99% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mahlan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Mahlan's pin code is 303007[4], and village code is 01519400. The area of Mahlan is segregated as 334.58 hectares irrigated area, 356.45 hectares unirrigated, the 192.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 100.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahlan is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4497 and has total administration over 760 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
