Works

Eriş’s first short story collection, Ferdi Blasting Out Of The Speakers At Home (Bangır Bangır Ferdi Çalıyor Evde), was published in 2012. His second book We Were As Beautiful As We Were (Olduğu Kadar Güzeldik)[5] was a short story collection as well, which was granted the prestigious Sait Faik Short Story Award in 2014[6]. In his first novel, All There Is To The World (Dünya Bu Kadar), which was published in 2015[7], Eriş was exploring new ways of narrative and reflecting his interest in storytelling and modern literature. Eriş turned his hand to genre-fiction and dark humour in his illustrated novels The Otherworldlies (Öbürküler) (2017) and The Others (Diğerleri) (2020) which were illustrated by internationally acclaimed artist M. K. Perker. His most recent short story collections Yellowsummer (Sarıyaz) and Half of Black (Kara Yarısı) were published simultaneously in 2019[8].
