Mahboob was born on 19th March, 1920 in Patna of Bihar state. His mother name was Begum Asmat Jahan and his father Khan Bahadur Doctor Vali Ahmad.[1][2] Mahboob completed his early education at Indian Military Academy in Dehradun.[3][4]
