Maharajpura is a small village of 169 hectares in Weir Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maharajpura depends on Kherli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Maharajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Maharajpura's pin code is 321615[4], and village code is 01052100. The area of Maharajpura is segregated as 74 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
