Maha Raja Tareen, (born 25 February 1976) is a politician in Pakistan. A daughter of Raja Munawar Ahmed, she is a columnist and has written for Daily Times (Pakistan)[1] . She completed her graduation in Political science|Political Science from Kinnaird College for Women in 1996 and MBA from the University of Wyoming in the US, which she completed in 1999. Later, in 2011, she obtained her LLB from the University of Punjab.[2]
Political career
Tareen has had a political career in the Punjab Provincial Assembly. She served as a member of the assembly from 2002 to 2007. In 2012, she joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Throughout her tenure, she represented the reserved seat for women Constituency W-320 in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.[3]
